Day 49 – December 11th

An alarming trend is now starting to develop, a trend of being dumped by women before I have even met them, after the debacle of last week where after 5 mins of conversation the girl tells me she is already dating someone else, then yesterday Angie ending communication, I come home tonight and there is a message on my phone from Victoria, she doesn’t think we should speak again.

I had only spoken to her for 10mins anyway and given she had a pair of dogs I doubt she was right for me anyway.

As I write this I am slightly numb, not because of the incidents listed above but because of what I have just witnessed on TV, the Raptors have just beaten the Hawks but TJ Ford the point guard has left the game on a stretcher……….it is becoming more and more obvious that the most important thing in life is health. (Both physical and mental).

The fitness club fiasco has now taken yet another turn and it now appears TAC is prepared to offer me a full squash membership, I will probably take it.  The Wellington is no longer a place that feels like “home” given all my friends have now left.  I will see what develops in the next few days, as I mentioned in one of my previous blogs I will miss Amy the spinning instructor, but now think I will also miss Shannon one of the girls from the front desk also………I guess this is my dirty old man coming out as she can be not much older than 25 years old if that.

Given the squash and women debacle I should be feeling subdued, but given what I just witnessed at the end of the basketball game a sense of peace and calm has descended upon me as I write this and as a result my mood for the day is 8 out 10.
