Day 58 – December 20th

A strange day to say the least, whenever strange days arrive they usually involve women and this was no exception.  First up though an update from yesterday, Raptors crushed in Portland enough said.  As for today I finally got round to sending out my holiday cards to the folks in the UK no doubt they will arrive sometime between Christmas and New Year.

Today was the first day of my 3 squash matches in 3 days…..so far so good a comfortable win but how will my knees feel in the morning, we’ll wait and see.  One thing I am certainly fed up with is constantly transferring my stuff between Wellington and TAC I will look forward to finally getting my TAC locker.
Now for the women, first up was my blind date with Uzma, she was OK but didn’t really have much to say, I was polite and carried the conversation for an 1hr but it is clear she isn’t the girl for me so I don’t plan on seeing her again.

The strangest thing happened though when I got home, a new girl from the dating agency and I decide to call her same night.  I needn’t have bothered, because get this she is engaged…….I ask her why she is in a dating agency and she claims she has forgotten to tell them that she is now in a committed relationship, I think that it is probably her that needs to be committed.  I wish her good luck in her marriage and put down the phone.
