Day 59 – December 21st

I am feeling a little guilty today, a female colleague bought me a gift today (a belt) and I didn’t get her anything in return, they say people get more pleasure from the giving than the receiving so hopefully that will be the case with her.  I also don’t feel too bad given she is married to someone crazy rich so is unlikely to go short herself on Christmas Day.

A second gift arrived today from my little sister in the UK, “The Blue Planet” the companion DVD to “Planet Earth” I will look forward to watching both as the series have rave reviews.  I only had one gift to purchase for one of my lawyer friends however he is into “metal” music so finding the CD of choice proved to be problematic to say the least.

What else happened today, some squash against Butler at TAC, he was to put it bluntly destroyed and I appear to be playing well again despite the hamstring strain in my left leg. One more match on Saturday and then I will rest up for a couple of days.  If I was as successful with women as I am at squash I think I would probably be in a far better position in life, but having said that I can’t really complain as I guess there are plenty of folks who are neither successful with women or successful at squash.

As I write this my beloved Raptors who remain out on the west coast are looking good against Seattle, whilst I enjoy watching the game I am exhausted so look forward to going to bed at it’s conclusion.
