Day 164 – April 3rd

My knee is still little sore and as a result even though I didn’t want to I felt it best if I skip the gym………I am turning into an FB, I am out of shape and quite frankly I am disgusted at myself.  I guess it is all relative and most people would still regard me as being in good shape however to me the extra millimetre of fat may as well be a big tub of lard.

So what did actually happen today…….well in the afternoon I did something stupid, that I’m not going to write about here, although I may do when the consequences of my stupidity have revealed themselves.

Pretty much relaxed at home in the evening, watching TV……as I write this it looks as though the Jays are going down to another close defeat to the Yankees, but my mood is boosted by the fact that on the alternate channel the Leafs are getting spanked by Ottawa 7-1………yes a 7-1 spanking it’s a beautiful thing.

My date with Marina it’s on for this Saturday at 5:00pm…….so check back for Saturday’s blog for the update, I must admit I am a little apprehensive firstly because I will be half thinking about getting home to watch the NCAA basketball that starts around 7pm.  Secondly I get the impression this women is going to be absolutely beautiful…….she has already described herself as such, and when I asked how I would recognise her she described exactly what she would be wearing…….she has clearly put some thought into this.

We have a lot in common, can talk easily……..but I have been down this path before, and therefore think it will be either great or a total disaster……..we’ll wait and see.
