Day 165 – April 4th

Today it looks as though I made the wrong choice……..my choice was to go and watch the Raptors and whilst it was a 20K sellout and quite a bit of noise the team fell to a dissapointing loss against Charlotte.  The correct choice would have been to go and watch and Jays play as from what I saw on TV they had a 50K sellout and the place looked to be absoloutly jumping as they turned over the world champion Boston Red Sox.

Prior to this a strange event happened at the gym, I go in for a 20min cardio blast and complete the workout pretty succesfully and as I am warming down and stretching someone who I don’t know that well comes into the gym and asks if I can play in a T&D match (Toronto & District Squash) against Glendon.  I say I have to leave in about 20 mins and she say’s it’s fine you’ll crush the guy.

Fair enough I go on court and after a couple of rallies it is clear my opponent is completely over matched………I rally with him though as he has travelled quite a distance but finish the guy off in maybe 15 mins and at one point managed to run of a string of 15 points in a row.

I come off court and find I have just played in the “E” league……..to give some perspective in the past I have played in the ‘A” league a fe times and even now that I seldom play would still be confident of being competitive in either the B or C leagues.

I ran into Victoria today, she is a front desk girl at Wellington……..at first I thought she had dyed her hair as she is now brunette having been always a blonde in the past, however I found out the reverse is true and she is a natural brunette who had dyed her hair blonde.  The only way this story relates to me is that I have now got a bit of the old salt and pepper going on, and one of the girl’s in my office has suggested that I may want to dye my hair…….I’m not sure this is a good idea, put will ponder it.

Got a call from Libia today but it was too late to return it when I got home……..although I did catch my first ever episode of Battle Star Galactica……why did I watch this show one reason and one reason only there was an artical in the Toronto Star about it and the photo featured 3 attractive women……….2 were blondes and one was Asain……take a wild guess as to whom I found most attractive…….Grace Park.  Nice, very nice indeed.

Mood for the day 8 out 10……..pretty high considering the Raps lost.
