Day 169 – April 8th

I should have just returned from speed dating but sadly have not…..the event was cancelled as a result of a lack of men, however I would have been more than happy to go and meet 12 women and only face competition from 6 guys……the event has been rescheduled for early May….so we’ll see what happens then.  It wasn’t all bad news on the dating front however as the agency called me with another woman. Haven’t got her number yet but when I do I’ll be speaking to Janet a 5″8 software developer who’s 33 years old.  We’ll see what transpires…………

The day started off pretty well, I snuck of work early to watch Liverpool beat Arsenal in the champions league in a game that turned first one way and then the other…..it is amazing how Liverpool can play so well in Europe yet so poorly in the domestic game.  Talking of classic games, last night’s basketball ended in a 3 pointer at virtually the buzzer to send the game in overtime that pretty much “broke” Memphis as Kansas went on to win.

Given my plan for the evening was ruined…….I did some cardio work at gym, about 30 mins all in the fitness zone……and then got home to the pile of ironing that awaited me.  As I write this the Jays have just lost a 9-8 classic to Oakland………a little more hypno as well this evening.
