Day 189 – April 28th

My hip woes continue and as I write this I am not even sure if I will be able to stand up without a shooting pain going down my left leg……..despite the pain I ended up playing squash anyway and surprisingly proceeded to systematically dismantle my opponent. He is actually a pretty good player and we have had many battles in the past at Wellington however today he just wasn’t bringing it and I decided to take full advantage, I actually felt a little guilty by the end as I managed to rattle off maybe 16 points in a row.

With the extra energy I decided to do a chest workout following squash and that actually went pretty well also and whilst I didn’t hit any personal bests it was progress non the less.

I have decided to get some photos done as I don’t really have any recent photos, and should really update the photo on the front of this site, facebook and send a few shots to my mother……..in the first instance I will get someone at work to take them and we’ll see how that goes and I have also looked into some professional photographers so may get a professional portrait depending how tomorrow goes……..I have spent much of the evening searching for my blue/yellow tie as that tends to go pretty well but to no avail.

To be honest my search was a little light hearted as my main focus was on the Raptor game in Orlando and obviously the game determined the mood for the day…………..The Raptors are heading back to Toronto, to clean out there lockers after a disappointing game 5 defeat in Orlando……some of the decisions appear strange Jamario Moon who was energetic all night doesn’t play the final quarter and the Raptors appeared to just shoot 3 after 3 after 3……….considering the team won less games than last season, received the playoff matchup they wanted and went out in 5 games…….it is fair to say the team has regressed……….I feel crushed.  I will post some views on the Raptors season over the next few days but it has been a disappointing season for a variety of reasons and not just what took place on the court.
