Day 235 – June 14th

If I was still in Britain I would say that at the moment I have “run out of steam” given I am in North America I will instead use the expression that “I am out of Gas” and as a result no workout for me today.

So what did happen today, in the morning I secured some tickets to see Coldplay, they put on a great show when I watched them in Montreal a couple of years back so I’ll look forward to seeing them again this time in T.O in the late summer.  Off to work (don’t ask) and then out to the Jays game with Garry and to be honest I was disappointed with what I witnessed.

First up the the Jays pretty much through the game away with a series of defensive miscues that would have ended innings only to see the inning continue and runs come into score.  There was also a successful marriage proposal on the big screen, however these things are always more enjoyable to watch when the guy gets turned down (although I guess not for the person doing the proposing).

Out to dinner with Garry for a frank exchange of funny stories and then a quick trip up to North York prior to settling in at home to watch live golf in “Prime Time” the beauty of the living in a country that contains multiple time zones.

Mood for the day 8 out of 10.
