Day 240 – June 19th

Today was the $40MM payment party directly after work…..there were 3 criteria for attending the party 1) You Live Downtown, 2) You are single and 3) You worked on the project.

Unfortunately this would have led to a very small group, just me and EDS girl so a few other people came along for the ride. We started out at pub for a meal, moved on to a bar for a drink, moved onto a nightclub and finally onto a Pizza parlour for a snack.

I can not remember the last time I went to club, but surprising had a great time……so much so that I didn’t get back to my apartment until 4:30am……….whilst the music was good, I don’t think it was that……whilst the other people were great, I don’t think it was that either…………why did I have a good time, probably because of EDS girl whom I hope to meet up with again fairly soon.

As more time passes I am coming more and more to the realisation that outside of health the key to a successful life is the people we meet and surround ourselves with.

Funny: Many people have made comments about the potential dangers of posting dating stories on a website well tonight I met someone who tracks everything on an excel spreadsheet that includes who the person was, the age, race, nationality and what exactly happened.

And there’s me thinking I was crazy.
